Sodexo has secured a 16-year contract extension with Alderson Broaddus University (AB) in Philippi, West Virginia.

The deal calls for Sodexo to oversee food service operations at the 89-year-old private university. Per the terms of the contract, Sodexo will invest US$1 million to renovate the university’s dining center, including updating the facility’s HVAC system, purchasing new furniture, and constructing a new entrance. Sodexo will also invest another $1.2 million in additional food service upgrades over the life of the contract, The Inter-Mountain reports.            

“Sodexo and AB have enjoyed a strong and valued partnership over the years,” said Stephen Miller, Sodexo vice president of operations – universities segment. “Sodexo is pleased to further that relationship with a 16-year extension of the dining service contract.”
