Sodexo Hosts Fundraiser to Fight Hunger

Sodexo’s Stop Hunger Foundation recently hosted a fundraising dinner at Headlingley Stadium in Leeds, England.
More than 440 guests comprised of Sodexo’s suppliers and clients attended the event, which raised more that US$170,000. The funds will be used by the Stop Hunger Foundation to address food insecurity and its root causes, Facilities Management Journal reports.
As part of the evening’s festivities, Sodexo recognized the volunteer efforts of its United Kingdom and Ireland employees by presenting the following awards:
- Charity Champion of the Year: Beverley Clough from Sodexo’s service operations team
- Commitment to Volunteering: Sodexo Government’s team at Larkhill Garrison
- Community Program: Sodexo Engage (Sodexo’s benefits and rewards business).
