Sodexo Increases 1st Quarter Revenue 18%

Sodexo reported a fiscal first-quarter revenue of US$5.98 billion, a 18.8% year-over-year increase in sales.
The company saw a 17.9% increase in sales in its on-site services division, while revenue in its business and administrations division was up 19.6% compared to the same time last year. Sodexo’s education division reported a 21% jump in revenue and the company’s healthcare division increased sales 12.3%.
“The recovery in the first quarter has been strong. The group reached 95% of pre-COVID levels this quarter,” said Sophie Bellon, Sodexo interim CEO. “All geographies are contributing to this growth and particularly North America.”
