February 23, 2021 Sodexo Launches $10M HBCU Scholarship Program

Sodexo has launched a US$10 million scholarship program for its frontline employees and their dependents in the U.S.

Sodexo’s initiative is administered by the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and open to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) partnered with UNCF or Sodexo. The program is scheduled to run through 2030 and will provide recipients with up to $12,000 for tuition, books, and other educational expenses.

“We are excited to launch this program with UNCF and our HBCU partners,” said Sarosh Mistry, region chair for Sodexo North America. “It will give more than 85,000 Sodexo frontline employees and their families access to funding to pursue their educational goals at the prestigious and iconic institutions where our teams proudly serve.”
