Sodexo Launches Automated Foodservice Cashier

Sodexo has teamed with Huawei France to launch an automated cafeteria management tool.
Sodexo’s Seefood intelligent settlement solution uses Huawei’s Atlas artificial intelligence to recognize meals, calculate prices, and receive payment from customers. One Seefood terminal is capable of processing more than 1,200 customers per hour, Vending Times reports. Sodexo’s system has been successfully deployed in Huawei’s global headquarters in Shenzhen, China, as well as cafeterias in hospitals and universities throughout China.
