Sodexo Saluted for Protein Sustainability

July 15, 2022 Sodexo Saluted for Protein Sustainability

Sodexo has been awarded an “A” rating by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) Protein Sustainability Scorecard.

HSUS established the scorecard as a way to benchmark the nation’s largest food service companies on their efforts to reach their sustainability goals. In order to participate, Sodexo completed a HSUS survey focused on three topics: transparency, goals, and a plan of action. Sodexo placed second overall based on its collaboration with HSUS on increasing plant-based menu options and its assessment of supply chain-related emissions.

“Sodexo is more than an advocate; we are proud to be a leader in sustainable food practices,” said Brett Ladd CEO of government and campus for Sodexo North America. “Working with our partners across the food system, including the Humane Society of the United States, we can unlock the solutions for a better tomorrow.”
