Sofidel Seeks Sustainable Hygiene Heroes

Sofidel America Corp. has announced the launch of its Sustainable Hygiene Heroes Awards.

Sofidel’s awards program honors cleaning professionals who go above and beyond to provide clean and safe facilities, while implementing sustainable cleaning practices. Nominations are now being accepted through January 27, 2023. A panel of judges will review nominations and select the winner and finalists based on the individual’s commitment to providing a clean, safe, and sustainable facility. The winning entry will be revealed in February 2023 and will receive US$4,000, along with $500 in Sofidel paper products for their facility. Two runners up will receive $500.

“Maintaining clean and safe facilities is challenging, especially in a post-pandemic world where people’s expectations around cleanliness have increased,” said Fabio Vitali, Sofidel vice president of marketing. “From paper to chemicals to trash liners, facility cleaning can consume a tremendous number of resources. This program honors the unsung heroes who maintain clean and safe spaces in a manner that limits a business’s impact on the environment.”
