USGBC Reveals Top States for LEED Buildings

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has released its 2016 list of the top 10 states for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-certified commercial and institutional green buildings per capita.

Massachusetts leads the United States with more than 3.73 square feet of LEED space per resident. Colorado and Illinois placed second and third on the USGBC’s list, certifying 3.17 and 2.82 square feet of LEED space per resident, respectively.
