VA Renews Deal With Medline

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded Medline Industries Inc. a contract to serve as the sole distributor of non-pharmaceutical medical supplies for the VA’s Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) program.

The US$150 million-per-year deal calls for Medline to deliver more than 4.5 million supplies directly to U.S. veterans’ homes, including diabetes and incontinence resources. In addition to the CMOP deal, Medline also has a separate, ongoing contract to provide medical and surgical supplies to VA hospitals and medical centers.
