In winter 2019, ISSA and subsidiary member organization the American Association of Cleaning Equipment Manufacturers (AACEM) convened to better understand commercial cleaning industry end-users’ understanding and adoption of autonomous cleaning equipment. The two organizations collectively developed and released an online survey to building service contractors (BSCs), in-house service providers, and facility/property managers with ties to the commercial cleaning industry to gauge these professionals’ familiarity with, perceptions of, and ultimately their adoption of autonomous cleaning equipment.
