White Paper: Innovation Management in Europe
This white paper explores how the cleaning industry in Europe is approaching innovation and facing some of the key challenges. The findings are based on interviews ISSA conducted with the support of DTO Research and the ISSA Innovation and Education Committee with industry players across Europe.
According to the white paper the pace of innovation in the industry is still moderate and influenced by peripheral developments. Robotics and digitalization are here to stay and their impact will keep growing. Research and development cooperation is seen as very important, but it hardly exists in practice. Staff shortage, industry professionalism with the ability to meet customer’s needs, industry recognition, and sustainability are among the most pressing matters.
Data for this white paper was collected through secondary data analysis and qualitative expert interviews (December 2019 – February 2020.)
