Describe your Spotless Space.

We are NOC – The Cleaning Company, a professional cleaning service provider based in Bucharest, Romania. Our spotless space is Genesis College, located in Genesis Tower, a modern K–12 educational campus with a total surface area of 9,000 square meters. Genesis College provides students from primary through high school with a wide range of advanced learning environments, including science laboratories, computer labs, language labs, visual arts studios, music rooms, and extensive study and reading areas aligned with International Baccalaureate standards. The college’s mission is to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring educational environment where students are encouraged to think critically, explore, and reach their full potential. Our role is to maintain clean, healthy, and safe classrooms, laboratories, hallways, restrooms, and common areas that directly support student wellbeing, learning, and daily campus operations.

What specific measures do you or your team implement to ensure this space meets the highest standards of cleanliness and embodies the value of clean?

At NOC – The Cleaning Company, we follow ISSA cleaning standards and global best practices to ensure Genesis College consistently meets the highest levels of cleanliness. We implemented a comprehensive cleaning plan that includes daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure full facility coverage. Our cleaning team participates in monthly professional training sessions focused on hygiene standards, efficiency, chemical safety, equipment use, and self-inspection. Weekly inspections are conducted jointly by our Project Manager and the Genesis College Facility Manager using digital inspection tools to track performance and identify areas for improvement. We apply the TACT principle (Time, Agitation, Chemical, Temperature) to ensure effective and safe cleaning and sanitation, using non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning products from ECOLAB Romania. We also use advanced equipment such as the i-mop XXL and COBI 18 robotic scrubber, which allow us to clean and dry floors faster and more efficiently while maintaining exceptional cleaning performance. These technologies increase productivity, reduce manual strain, and ensure consistent results throughout the entire campus.

What does having a spotless space mean to you and your team and how does it contribute to the organization’s business outcomes?

For our team, a spotless space represents health, safety, trust, and responsibility. In an educational environment, cleanliness directly supports student wellbeing, concentration, and academic performance. By maintaining hygienic classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, we help reduce the spread of bacteria, viruses, and allergens, creating a safer environment for students and teachers. Our use of HEPA-filtered vacuum equipment improves indoor air quality, while frequent sanitation of high-touch surfaces minimizes health risks. A spotless environment allows students and educators to focus on learning and teaching without distraction or concern. Our commitment to excellence strengthens client trust, enhances the institution’s reputation, and ensures long-term operational success. We do more than clean—we contribute to creating a positive, healthy, and motivating educational experience.

How does your facility promote sustainability and/or green cleaning?

Sustainability is a core component of our cleaning strategy. We partner with ECOLAB Romania to use environmentally responsible, biodegradable cleaning products that reduce environmental impact while maintaining high hygiene standards. We implement structured waste management systems with separate collection points for general waste, plastic, metal, and paper to support recycling efforts. Genesis College uses Tork hygiene solutions that significantly reduce environmental impact, including coreless toilet paper that reduces packaging waste by up to 92%, compressed hand towels that reduce transportation emissions, and biodegradable soaps that are safe for aquatic ecosystems. Our cleaning equipment uses high-efficiency Li-Ion batteries, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. Additionally, the i-mop XXL Pro reduces water and chemical usage by up to 75% compared to traditional cleaning methods, conserving valuable natural resources while delivering superior cleaning performance.

We are committed to creating inclusive, accessible, and safe environments for all students, staff, and visitors. Hallways, classrooms, and common areas are maintained clear of obstacles to ensure safe and easy movement for individuals with disabilities. Restrooms, including accessible facilities, are cleaned with increased frequency and attention to ensure hygiene, safety, and comfort for all users. Clear and visible signage is used throughout the campus to improve navigation and safety awareness. For our cleaning staff, we provide ergonomic equipment such as the i-mop XXL, which reduces physical strain and improves safety and efficiency. We also provide continuous training, safety guidance, and proper protective equipment to ensure the wellbeing of our team.
