Our spotless space is the New Maternity Ward at Córdoba, Argentina’s leading neonatal care center. This particular area is one of the neonatal rooms within the facility.

What specific measures do you or your team implement to ensure this space meets the highest standards of cleanliness and embodies the value of clean?

• The hospital follows a standardized operational plan that outlines all procedures for cleaning each area.
• Each neonatal room has dedicated, specialized staff, along with a list of substitutes to replace them in case of absence or leave.
• Floor and window cleaning is done with sodium hypochlorite (NaClO), a two-step cleaning product.
• After use, incubators are cleaned with potassium monopersulfate (KHSO5), a one-step cleaning product.
• Daily maintenance of incubators is carried out with potassium monopersulfate (KHSO5).
• Grilling is done with single-use cloths in all cases.
• Prior to cleaning and conducting audits, invisible ink markings are applied.
• After cleaning, audits are performed, including ATP (adenosine triphosphate) swabbing tests.
• We actively participate in the Infectiology and Patient Safety Committees

Cleaning these spaces is essential to ensuring biosecurity in the facilities we serve, including the New Maternity Ward and all the hospitals where we provide services. All public hospital areas are equipped with amenities and accessibility features to accommodate the diverse personal needs of patients, in-house and outsourced staff, medical support personnel, doctors, and the general public.
