Sofidel Recognized for Sustainability Initiatives

Sofidel has been named a recipient of a Sustainability, Environmental Achievement, and Leadership (SEAL) Environmental Initiatives Award.

The annual SEAL awards program recognizes companies across the world for implementing impactful and innovative environmental and sustainability initiatives. Sofidel was recognized for its Amazonia project, a collaborative effort with Suzano Papel e Celulose, a Brazilian producer of pulp and paper products. The three-year pilot project aims to protect biodiversity and support local communities in the Amazon rainforest through habitat restoration, agroforestry projects, and structured social initiatives.
