The Winners for the ISSA Spotless Spaces Competition
As part of International Cleaning Week in March, we launched the inaugural Spotless Spaces Competition, showcasing the highest standards of cleanliness and dedication to creating safe and accessible environments. After over 9,000 votes were cast, we are excited to announce the Spotless Spaces winners and the Think Ahead Facility Excellence Award winner, presented by competition sponsor Tork, an Essity brand.
US Spotless Spaces Winner: The cleaning teams of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority for the Archives and Virginia Square Metro Stations in Washington, D.C. and Virginia.
International Spotless Spaces Winner: Hygiene & Sanitization Services – Fiji LTD, the building service contractor for Labasa, Nadi, and CWM Hospitals in Fiji.
Tork Think Ahead Facility Excellence Award: Gathering Place Park’s facility manager and cleaning team of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

International Cleaning Week’s Service Project in Chicago Was a Huge Success!
On March 27, 2025, a group of dedicated volunteers met at ISSA Headquarters in Rosemont, IL, to participate in International Cleaning Week’s Service Day Project. Volunteers from ISSA proudly joined Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA signature charity, to clean cancer patients’ homes that morning. A big thank you to the volunteers, companies, and in-kind donations that made this day possible!
