April 14, 2022 Calling all Scientific, Industry, Biosafety, Infection Control, IAQ & ESG Experts: Apply to Become a GBAC Champion Today

The Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC), a Division of ISSA, is soliciting applications for volunteers to serve as a GBAC Champion within our 2022 nine topical GBAC Working Groups. Industry leaders, advocates, subject matter experts, and other volunteers in the fields of microbial-pathogenic threat analysis, biohazard mitigation, and innovation design are invited to apply to become a GBAC Champion.

“GBAC was founded to help organizations and businesses prepare for, respond to, recover from biohazard situations and real-time crises, and to develop resilience” said GBAC Executive Director Patricia Olinger. “We want to bring together more leaders in this space to share ideas and spur innovation that will generate practical solutions for today’s biological challenges.”

The GBAC Working Groups will focus on the following topics: devices; indoor air considerations; equipment, tools, and delivery systems; defining clean; infection prevention strategies; AI and data analytics; hand hygiene; GBAC-Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG); and GBAC Academy. Members of the GBAC Working Groups serve one-year terms as non-compensated volunteers.

“GBAC is bringing together the world’s leading minds to turn ideas into actionable solutions to address pathogenic threats,” said GBAC Senior Director and The Infection Prevention Strategy (TIPS) Co-Founder Michael Diamond. “These working groups will further our mission to drive scientific and technological innovations that will solve real problems.”
