Cintas Crowns Canada’s Top Restroom

Cintas Corp. has named the restrooms at Majesty and Friends in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the winner of its 2022 Canada’s Best Restroom Contest.

The 13th-annual award honors businesses that value hygiene and style, while recognizing the parallel between clean restrooms and customer retention. The modern-design boutique was recognized for extending its whimsical nature to its restrooms, including a mural inspired by ice cream and pink toilet paper. While Majesty and Friends opened only a year ago, it’s already one of the most popular Instagram stops in all of Edmonton.

“The state of the washroom can have an enduring effect on a guest’s perception of a business,” said Candice Raynsford, Cintas Canada marketing manager. “Providing a facility that is clean and inviting takes the customer experience to the next level. Guests recognize this, and in Majesty and Friends’ case, customers have shown their appreciation by voting them this year’s Canada’s Best Restroom.”

As the grand prize winner, Majesty and Friends will receive CAN$2,500 worth of services from Cintas as well as enshrinement in Canada’s Best Restroom Contest Hall of Fame.
