IICRC Joins the Professional Certification CoalitionMarch 24, 2022
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) recently became an official member of the Professional Certification Coalition (PCC).
Organized by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence and the American Society of Association Executives, the PCC seeks to advance the interests of individuals who rely on professional certifications to demonstrate proven credentials. The coalition is especially focused on counteracting what it deems harmful legislative initiatives.
“We are excited to join other members of the Professional Certification Coalition in advancing legislative and regulatory actions that promote, rather than restrict, professional certification,” said Michael Dakduk, IICRC president and CEO. “This new partnership reflects the IICRC’s commitment to educating government officials and the public on the value of professional certifications within the restoration, cleaning, and inspection industries.”
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is an ANSI-accredited standards-setting body for the flooring inspection, floor covering, and specialized fabric cleaning and disaster restoration industries. Organized in 1972, IICRC currently represents more than 5,700 certified firms and 54,000 certified technicians in 22 countries. For more information, visit www.iicrc.org.
