January 7, 2021 Registration Now Open for ISSA’s 2021 Virtual Clean Advocacy Summit

Registration is now open for ISSA’s virtual Clean Advocacy Summit, March 30-31, as part of National Cleaning Week. This first-ever ISSA event is presented in conjunction with the Independent Office Products & Furniture Dealers Association’s (IOPFDA) Workplace Solutions Summit.

Now more than ever, government affairs impacts the full spectrum of the cleaning industry. Especially designed for the industry, the 2021 Virtual Clean Advocacy Summit represents a unique opportunity for leaders and members of the industry to be involved with and influence the legislative and regulatory process. Summit participants will join manufacturers, distributors, business service contractors, and residential cleaners in learning about the top public policy issues facing the industry and how to be an effective advocate, as well as meet with their congressional delegations.

2021 Clean Advocacy Summit Highlights

  • Policy briefings on the top issues facing the cleaning industry such as trade and tariffs, the federal COVID-19 response, liability protections, small business issues, and more
  • Meeting virtually with your congressional delegation
  • A legislative and regulatory review of cleaning and hygiene products
  • How legislation and regulations are impacting your business
  • An overview of what the new administration, Congress, and state legislatures will mean for the industry
  • Special guest speakers
  • Training on how to be an effective advocate for the industry
  • Virtual networking with industry leaders.

“With the increased attention to cleaning and hygiene due to COVID-19, it is imperative the cleaning industry make our voice heard by policymakers and regulators,” said ISSA Director of Government Affairs John Nothdurft. “The virtual summit format gives more cleaning industry professionals a chance to get more involved in the policymaking process.”

“Our industries have never been more important and never more subject to government oversight than now,” said IOPFDA Executive Director Mike Tucker. “Leaders and members of our industries can make their voices heard on the legislative and regulatory priorities for their businesses by virtually participating in this year’s Clean Advocacy and Workplace Solutions Summits.”

“Jointly presenting the 2021 Clean Advocacy Summit represents one of the many benefits of our recent merger with IOPFDA,” said ISSA Executive Director John Barrett. “We’re excited to host this virtual opportunity, which brings together the strengths and resources of both organizations for an enhanced, critical, and timely program.”

Sponsorship opportunities for companies to place their brands in front of industry leaders and decision makers, as well as to demonstrate support for ISSA’s government affairs efforts, are available for this event. Please contact John Nothdurft at [email protected], (800) 225-4772 to learn more about such opportunities.
