Get Ready for National Safety Month

June is National Safety Month, and you can join the National Safety Council (NSC) in celebrating its 25th anniversary. With the U.S. seeing the highest number of workplace deaths since 2007, this year’s observance is more important than ever.

Throughout next month, you can access a variety of free materials on four weekly topics including incident prevention, ongoing COVID-19 safety concerns, psychological safety, and continuous safety improvement.

As part of recognizing 25 years of National Safety Month, the NSC is giving you the opportunity to recognize a safety professional—or anyone who inspires safety—with a donation to NSC. Every hero honored with a donation made now through the end of June will be matched up to a total of US$25,000, thanks to the support of VelocityEHS—an award-winning environment, health, safety (EHS) and sustainability software. Your support helps fuel the NSC mission to save lives from the workplace to anyplace.
