Kimberly-Clark to Expand Mississippi Manufacturing Plant

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, announced plans to invest more than US$140 million in its Corinth, Mississippi, manufacturing facility.

The upgrade project will add 150,000 square feet of manufacturing space and will install new technology to improve the plant’s capacity and efficiency to produce nonwoven products. The multi-phased expansion will allow Kimberly-Clark to add an additional 33 employees once the project is complete, Northeast MS Daily Journal reports.

This marks the second expansion project at Kimberly-Clark’s Corinth facility in as many years. Last year, the company invested $20 million to add 45,000 square feet of manufacturing space to the factory.
