From humble beginnings in 1939 as a wire sponge producer in Providence, RI, ACS has grown to become a 3rd generation family owned business with a leadership position in most all product categories manufactured. With a 4th generation operating in key management positions, ACS is set up for many years to come.
ACS is a global organization with Corporate and R&D functions in RI with manufacturing operations in the USA, Mexico, China and Europe. Vertical integration has taken us to 6 facilities with over 4,400 employees world wide.
Our Scrubble Brand of cleaning products is the distributor choice in Food Service. This range includes stainless scrubbers, sponges, soap pads, grill screens and bricks, fryer filters and many other non food disposables. To further add to this bundle along with making the cross over into JanSan, ACS produces a complete line of Mops, Brooms and Brushes.
The Floor Care Maintenance line, now expanded with the addition of ETC and Treleoni, offers both a premier top quality ETC floor pad line for the industry professional and the ACS-Treleoni line for commercial distribution. In addition to what now is the largest range of floor maintenance pads in the industry, the ACS Cleaning Products Group provides the original natural hair Gorilla® pad line for ultra high speed floor care. The Premium Diamond by Gorilla line of diamond pads with grit sizes ranging from 200 to 11,000; the largest in the industry is the largest in the industry. Other premier floor care products include professional and commercial sand screens, jumbo and matrix steel wool pads, carpet bonnets, ruff turf pads, melamine pads, microfiber pads, and many more innovative products.
