3M Sees August Sales Rise

3M has reported its August sales increased 2% year-on-year to US$2.7 billion.

For the month, 3M saw sales in its health care division climb 23%, while its safety and industrial division reported a 6% increase. Sales in 3M’s consumer division rose 3% and the company’s transportation and electronics division reported an 11% dip in sales. Geographically, sales were up 7% in 3M’s EMEA region and its Americas division had a 4% increase.
