ABM Announces Latest Updates to Leadership Team

ABM has detailed the most recent additions to the company’s leadership team.

Valerie Burd has been promoted to president of ABM’s business and industry (B&I) division. Burd has been with the company for nearly 20 years and has spent the past three years as president of ABM’s educations segment. In her new position, Burd will lead the B&I division’s North American growth and service delivery strategy.

“I am very pleased with Valerie’s well-earned promotion to lead our largest segment. Her vision and passion for ABM, deep understanding of our clients and business, and strong connection with our client-facing teams are invaluable assets that will serve her well as she embarks on this new opportunity,” said Rene Jacobsen, ABM executive vice president and chief operating officer.

In a related move, Scott Camp has been named president of ABM’s education segment. He joins the company from information storage services firm Iron Mountain, where he worked for two decades in various leadership positions.

In addition, ABM has appointed Martin (Marty) Montagne the company’s senior vice president, as well as president of its engineering division. In this newly created role, Montagne will lead all of ABM’s engineering operations across the United States, encompassing more than 10,000 licensed engineers. He comes to ABM from private equity-backed manufacturing company Conquest Firespray, where he served as president and chief operating officer.
