ABM Awarded Contact With Virginia School District

ABM has secured an energy performance contract with King William County Public Schools in King William, Virginia.
The contract calls for ABM to upgrade the district’s four educational facilities with high-efficiency LED lighting, updated building automation, and HVAC systems by 2021. ABM will also provide daily maintenance and custodial services to the four schools.
Based on current energy prices, the deal is expected to reduce the facilities’ energy consumption and save the school district more than US$4.9 million in energy and operating costs during the next 15 years. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
