ABM Helps Rhode Island School District Cut Energy Costs

ABM has secured an energy performance contract with the Providence Public School District (PPSD) in Providence, Rhode Island.

The contract calls for ABM to enhance the custodial, groundskeeping, and maintenance operations of PPSD’s 37 schools, including three new schools that will be opening this fall. All 200 of the district’s custodial, grounds, and maintenance team members previously employed by PPSD’s previous contractor were offered roles to join ABM. Financial terms of the deal, which consists of a three-year base contract with two additional two-year options, were not announced.
