ABM to Help Georgia School District Cut Energy Costs

ABM Facility Services has secured a contract with the McIntosh County, GA, board of education to implement energy and facility improvement projects in several school district buildings.
The contract calls for ABM to upgrade four school district facilities with energy-efficient HVAC systems, LED lighting, water conservation enhancements, and updated energy management systems.
Based on current energy prices, the deal is expected to reduce the county’s energy consumption and save McIntosh County more than US$20.9 million in energy and operating costs during the next 20 years. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
