Cintas Founder Announces Retirement

Richard T. Farmer announced his retirement from Cintas Corp.’s board of directors, effective October 30.

Farmer served as the company’s CEO through 1995 and its board chairman through 2010. Since 2010, he has served as chairman emeritus. Farmer will retain the title of chairman emeritus but will not take part in board meetings or other activities upon his retirement, Textile World reports.
