Cintas Survey Finds Americans Value COVID-19 Precautions

September 8, 2020 Cintas Survey Finds Americans Value COVID-19 Precautions

A new online survey of more than 2,000 U.S. adults commissioned by Cintas Corp. found more than two-thirds (68%) of respondents would feel more confident entering public facilities during the current COVID-19 pandemic if employees and patrons were wearing masks.

The study, conducted by The Harris Poll, also found that over three in five Americans (62%) would feel more self-assured if a public facility frequently cleaned and disinfected its restrooms. In addition, 61% of respondents would feel more confident if a facility has implemented additional cleaning and disinfecting protocols.

“The pandemic has resulted in many businesses reevaluating health and safety protocols, including the way they approach cleaning,” said Sean Mulcahey, Cintas marketing manager. “Taking the proper precautions can instill confidence in customers and secure repeat business at a time when revenue is crucial.”
