Circular Action Alliance Adds Three ISSA Members
July 13, 2023Circular Action Alliance (CAA) has announced the addition of six Founding Member companies, including Colgate-Palmolive Co.; SC Johnson, parent company of SC Johnson Professional; and The Clorox Co., parent company of CloroxPro™.
These three members join CAA’s eleven other Founding Members, which includes Proctor & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Proctor & Gamble Professional (P&G PRO). Circular Action Alliance (CAA) is a U.S.-based nonprofit Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO), established to support the successful implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws for paper and packaging. The alliance’s members have committed to collaborate on developing a circular economy for paper and packaging. CAA was recently appointed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment as the PRO in charge of implementing the state’s Producer Responsibility Program for Statewide Recycling Act.
“Circular Action Alliance is thrilled to be gaining the leadership of these new Founding Member companies, who will contribute significant expertise as we continue to work collaboratively with producers, state and local governments, communities, service providers, and nongovernmental organizations to implement EPR for paper and packaging in Colorado and beyond,” said Charlie Schwarze, CAA board chair.
