Clorox Increases 2nd-Quarter Sales

The Clorox Co., parent company of CloroxPro™, has reported fiscal-second-quarter sales of US$1.72 billion, up 1% compared to the same quarter last year.

Clorox reported year-to-date net cash provided by operations of $387 million compared to $222 million in last year, representing a 74% increase. Sales in the company’s health and wellness segment, which includes cleaning and professional products, dipped 2% while its household division’s sales grew 9%. Clorox’s lifestyle division increased sales 2% and its international division saw sales decline 3%.
