Colgate-Palmolive Increases 3rd Quarter Sales

Colgate-Palmolive Co. has reported third-quarter net sales of US$4.41 billion, an increase of 6.5% year-over-year.
Colgate-Palmolive reported second-quarter operating profit of $967 million, or $0.75per share, a dip of 5% from the same period last year. In North America, Colgate-Palmolive’s net sales rose 1% while its European and Asia Pacific divisions reported similar increases. The company’s Latin America segment posted an 11% increase in net sales.
