Colgate-Palmolive Purchases French Skin Care Company

Colgate-Palmolive Co. has acquired Laboratoires Filorga Cosmétiques for US$1.69 billion.
Colgate-Palmolive’s purchase of the Paris-based skin care manufacturer increases its product portfolio. Filorga is currently sold in more than 60 countries with a major market presence in France, Italy, Spain, and China, The Wall Street Journal reports.
