Colgate-Palmolive to Upgrade Ohio Facility

September 3, 2020 Colgate-Palmolive to Upgrade Ohio Facility

Colgate-Palmolive Co. has announced plans to invest US$1.2 million in the company’s Cambridge, Ohio, manufacturing center.

The project will upgrade the machinery and equipment at the plant, which manufactures liquid hand soap, and allow the facility to add another 25 employees. Colgate-Palmolive has seen demand for its hand soap skyrocket since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this year, The Daily Jeff reports.

“The Colgate-Palmolive Cambridge Team is very excited for the investment in our site and our team,” said Rick Davis, plant manager. “Our site has a long tradition of high performance and has had a strong community partnership since the plant was built in 1988. We look forward to this continued partnership.”
