Compass Group Chairman to Step Down

Paul Walsh, chairman and director of Compass Group, announced he is stepping down to pursue other interests.

Walsh has been with Compass Group for the past six years. He will remain with the company as chairman until a successor is found, Facilities Management Journal reports.

“It has been a privilege to serve for the last six years as chairman of Compass Group, which is a world-class business and a true British success story on the global stage,” said Walsh. “We have a strong and well-established chief executive in place, and I will work to ensure a seamless transition to my successor as chairman.”
