Diversey Sponsors 2024 European Hotel Sustainability Award

Pedro Pinto, general manager of the Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel, was named the winner of the 2024 European Hotel Management Association (EHMA) Sustainability Award by Diversey.

The 13th-annual award honors an EHMA organization that successfully implements an innovative sustainability program. A jury of hospitality and sustainability experts, including Daniel Daggett, Diversey vice president of corporate sustainability, recognized Pinto for developing a card game designed to engage employees and guests of the Lisbon, Portugal, hotel on ways to reduce carbon emissions. Pinto’s card game combines United Nations Sustainability Development goals with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles to prompt players on ways to assess and evolve corporate sustainability strategies.
