December 10, 2019 Eastman CFO Announces Retirement

Curtis E. Espeland, chief financial officer (CFO) and executive vice president for Eastman Chemical Co. has announced his retirement.

Espeland joined Eastman in 1996 and has served as the company’s CFO since 2008. Effective February 28, 2020, Espeland will be succeeded by William T. McLain Jr., who currently serves as vice president of finance. Espeland will continue to serve as executive vice president to assist Eastman’s leadership team with finance organization transition, corporate strategy, and portfolio optimization until his retirement in mid-2020.
