Ecolab Teams With Ford to Reduce Emissions

January 30, 2024 Ecolab Teams With Ford to Reduce Emissions

Ecolab Inc. has partnered with Ford Pro™, Ford Motor Co.’s commercial division, to accelerate the electrification of its sales and service fleet.

The agreement calls for Ecolab’s North American fleet to be converted to electronic vehicles (EVs) by 2030. Ecolab has set a goal to convert its California fleet to EVs by next year by purchasing more than 1,000 Ford F-150® Lightning® Pro trucks and Mustang® Mach-E® SUVs. Once Ecolab deploys these vehicles, it will create what is anticipated to be the largest all-EV sales and service fleet in California. The change to an all-EV fleet is part of Ecolab’s larger efforts to achieve net-zero emissions globally by 2050.

“Ecolab’s history is rich with collaboration between like-minded companies committed to sustainable business growth,” said Christophe Beck, Ecolab chairman and CEO. “Ford and Ecolab have worked together for nearly a century, most recently to help conserve water and energy while improving business performance. This next phase of our relationship will help us move quickly and at scale with the goal of improving profits through renewable energy and EV solutions for the betterment of our employees, business, and the environment.”
