Egal Partners With Portable Restroom Provider

Egal Pads Inc. has entered into a strategic partnership with portable restroom provider Throne.

The agreement calls for Egal’s patented Pads on a Roll to be installed in Throne’s portable restrooms. Pads on a Roll consist of 40 wrapped menstrual pads joined end-to-end and perforated for easy use, similar to a toiler paper roll.

Egal’s Pads on a Roll system is currently being tested and piloted in a broad range of locations, including airports such as Richmond International Airport and Denver International Airport, along with several stadiums and arenas in the U.S. and United Kingdom. Egal also has landed distribution deals with W.W. Grainger Inc. and Staples Inc. 

“It’s essential to make menstrual products available when and where people need them, and that’s why it is so important for schools and other public buildings to provide free access in all restrooms,” said Penelope Finnie, Egal CEO. “Do you carry around your own toilet paper? This is an issue of privacy, dignity, and equality. It started with schools, but obviously the need is far greater.”
