Essity Teams With Voith on Sustainable Tissue Production

Essity has entered an exclusive partnership with global technology firm The Voith Group.

The agreement calls for the two organizations to collaborate on a new tissue-making process, with the goal of reducing energy consumption by up to 40% and water consumption by up to 95%. The process has been successfully tested on a laboratory scale and is now being evaluated on a larger, trial basis.
