Fire Strikes SP Richards Distribution Center
July 22, 2019Last week a fire struck S.P. Richards Co.’s Smyrna, Ga. distribution center.
The fire was reported late in the day on Friday, July 19. Ten fire fighting crews from area counties were able to contain the blaze, which also damaged S.P. Richards’ adjacent headquarters office. No staff members were injured in the fire.
According to Rick Toppin, S.P. Richards’ president and CEO, the company will use alternative distribution centers to ensure its customers do not experience any service disruptions.
