March 5, 2024

Five ISSA-member companies have been honored with inclusion in Ethisphere Institute’s 18th annual listing of the World’s Most Ethical Companies.

First published in Ethisphere magazine in 2007, the annual designation is awarded to companies that have demonstrated excellence in their ethics and compliance programs. More than 130 honorees in 20 countries were recognized by the publication for promoting ethical business standards and practices internally, as well as exceeding legal compliance minimums and developing best practices.

Ecolab Inc. continued its run of being included on Ethisphere’s list, making its 18th consecutive appearance. Colgate-Palmolive Co. marks its 14th appearance on the listing; Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, has now been recognized nine times. Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) was named to Ethisphere’s list for the 17th time, while Sodexo made its first appearance on the index.

“At Ecolab, we consider ethical business practices to be a cornerstone of what it means to be a responsible and profitable company,” said Christophe Beck, Ecolab chairman and CEO. “Our commitment to doing the right thing, and doing it well, is how we are able to deliver on our promises and expand our positive impact on the world.”

“At Kimberly-Clark, we’re committed to making a positive impact through the products we make, the workplaces we create, and the communities we serve,” commented Mike Hsu, Kimberly-Clark chairman and CEO. “We’re honored to be recognized once again by Ethisphere. The continued recognition reflects our commitment to doing business the right way as we fulfill our purpose of Better Care for a Better World.”
