GBAC Explains Latest CDC Mask Advisory

Earlier this week, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its guidance on the usage of face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The CDC issued the revised guidelines based on the rise in cases nationwide of the B.1.617.2. variant of COVID-19, also known as the Delta variant. The agency now recommends that fully vaccinated people wear masks indoors when in areas with “substantial” and “high” transmission of the virus.
