Georgia-Pacific to Expand Kentucky Factory
May 24, 2019Georgia-Pacific LLC, parent company of Georgia-Pacific Professional, announced plans to invest more than US$100 million in its Bowling Green, KY, facility.
The Kentucky mill produces paper plates, cups, and other food service products. The upgrade project will add an additional 80,000 square feet of space, a new printer, and an expanded truck dock. Georgia-Pacific anticipates the project will be completed by early 2020 and will allow the facility to add an additional 50 employees.
