April 10, 2024

Georgia-Pacific LLC, parent company of GP PRO, announced plans to invest more than US$150 million in its Wauna, Oregon, production facility.

The Wauna facility produces bath tissue for the consumer market under the Angel Soft® brand, as well as several private label tissues. The enhancements include rebuilding and upgrading a vintage 1965 paper machine, boosting the factory’s production capabilities.

“We are excited to invest in our market-leading Angel Soft bath tissue and strategic private label brands we support,” said Vivek Joshi, Georgia-Pacific president of retail tissue, towel, and napkins. “This investment will allow us to grow these brands and continue to serve our loyal consumers with the great quality they have come to expect.”
