GOJO Halts Operations in Europe

GOJO Industries has announced plans to cease operations in Europe.

According to a statement on the company’s website, GOJO’s European division “has struggled financially for over a decade, requiring significant, ongoing support from the U.S. throughout that time.”

The statement goes on to say that although GOJO has explored numerous options to retain or divest its European division, no viable solution was able to be reached. For the short term, GOJO will continue to manufacture products out of its facilities in France and is currently exploring other avenues to minimize disruption.
