Green Sports Alliance Postpones Summit
March 25, 2020The Green Sports Alliance (GSA) has postponed its annual summit due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
GSA’s 10th-anniversary summit was originally scheduled to take place June 17-18 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The new date is currently to be determined.
“The health and well-being of our members, partners, staff, and all those within our community are of the utmost priority to us,” said Roger McClendon, GSA executive director. “As a result, we’ve made the decision to reschedule our summit in an effort to keep our attendees, hosts, and regional partners safe. The shutdown of the sports industry has been difficult for everyone, and we hope that by moving our event, we can better support our industry and the greater sports greening movement. Our thoughts are with all of those impacted during these challenging times.”
