Hill & Markes to Host Food Drive

Hill & Markes Inc. will host a “stuff the truck” food drive on October 10.
The event will take place 8 a.m.–12 p.m. outside the Hannaford Supermarket in Amsterdam, New York. A Hill & Markes truck will collect nonperishable food items to be distributed to those in need by Catholic Charities. Gift cards and personal hygiene products will also be accepted as donations.
“COVID-19 has exacerbated food insecurity in our country and this region. My family, our employees, and our company are grateful to be able to help feed struggling individuals and families in Montgomery and Fulton counties at this time,” said Jason Packer, Jill & Markes CEO. “We are so incredibly thankful for Catholic Charities for the work they do in feeding the hungry and supporting this initiative during this pandemic and beyond.”
