Home Depot Expands Rental Program

Home Depot Inc., parent company of Home Depot Pro, announced the company has opened eight new rental centers since the start of the year.

Home Depot now has more than 1,300 rental locations throughout North America. To support its rapidly expanding program, the company recently launched a revamped online rental program. Customers can reserve and rent equipment online up to 30 days in advance of picking it up at a local Home Depot.

“This new online technology saves pro and do-it-yourself customers time and trips to the store because they can conveniently check equipment availability and reserve what they need in advance to get in and out of our rental centers more quickly than ever,” said Richard Porter, vice president of Home Depot’s rental division. “For urgent needs at the job site or in the midst of that weekend project, customers can also check availability at multiple locations and make reservations on their phone or other mobile device.”
