IFMA Honors Compass Group
October 3, 2023ESFM USA®, the integrated facilities management (IFM) division of Compass Group, recently received the Sheila Sheridan Award for Sustainable Facility Operations and Management from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
IFMA’s annual award recognizes organizations for leadership and innovation for the operation of environmentally responsible and sustainably managed buildings. ESFM was honored for its sustainability efforts at a medical device and equipment manufacturing client site in Mahwah, New Jersey. ESFM oversaw projects that directly led to an 11% reduction in carbon emissions and nearly US$500,000 in cost savings from lower energy usage.
